The RagMat range is our premium matboard made from cotton and designed for conservation work. The cotton fibres are naturally acid and lignin free. Cotton is the perfect material to conserve precious artwork as it is time-tested and naturally free of any chemicals that could harm artwork. RagMat is the only matboard guaranteed safe next to any artwork. It meets museum conservation standards as set by F.A.C.T.S and F.A.T.G.

In accordance with Larson Juhl’s ReLeaf and environmental awareness Crescent RagMats are made from cotton which is annually renewable and environmentally friendly.

Decorative Mat board

Decorative mat board, with a light cream core, provide an unrivalled range of colours and textures for traditional, non-conservation framing.

The surface papers, core and backing papers of this range are buffered with calcium carbonate to alkaline reserve of 3 – 5 %.

Available in 32” x 40”(81 x 102 cm) and 40” x 60” (102 x 152 cm).

International White Core

Crescent’s International White core  mopboard line offers the latest in colours, textures and patterns reflecting today’s trends in art and home décor. Look at our International White core line to help you create dramatic and exciting matted artwork.

A non – conservation white core mat board that provides the aesthetic and design benefits of a bright – white bevel. Decorative facing papers that stay- white core.  Surface, core and backing paper buffered with calcium carbonate to alkaline reserve of 3-5%

Black Core Matboard

Black Core Mat boards add contrast and drama to non- conservation framing.

Surface papers, core and backing paper are buffered with calcium carbonate to alkaline reserve of 3 –5%. The backing papers are made from an exclusive, non-scuff paper.

Available in 32” x 40”(81 x 102 cm) and 40” x 60” (102 x 152 cm).
